Joyce Wright started her customer service career early.  While still in high school, she worked as a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell Telephone, which is now AT&T.  Over her 26 year telecommunications career, she held a variety of customer service oriented positions in the business office call center and in medium and large business centers.  She also worked with account executives in sales and after the sale, to implement what they sold.

 

She was the dependable one that held the customer's hand through major telecommunication and data network changes. Her follow-up and follow-through gained her a loyal following.  She was requested often by customers and account managers to be the one to handle their requests or to just be there to offer moral support.

 

She often won sales and support awards.  She was fortunate to work for a Fortune 500 company in that she completed a wide variety of training classes such as Versatile Salesperson, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and many many many many weeks of technical and sales training.

 

Even though she was born and raised in St. Louis her heart belonged to the country.  Joyce and her husband, Matt, dreamed of the day they could move to their 100 acres in southeast Missouri.  In 2000, Joyce had an opportunity for early retirement and she jumped at it so she could focus on their little piece of the woods.

 

While finalizing their plans to move to the country, Joyce worked part-time as an event planner and administrative assistant for a farm equipment association for two years.  To make the transition to the country easier, she called an outside agent to AT&T that she used to support from her days at the phone company.  Even though she was just looking for a reference, he made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.  Back to the data and telecom industry, but this time working from home as a virtual assistant to an outside sales representative.  In this job, Joyce acted as a liaison between the sales rep's customers and AT&T.

 

Joyce loves doing volunteer work.  Not only is it rewarding, it is a way to socialize with like minded people.  She is a Friend of the Library, a go-fer at the local history museum, a member of the Perry Animal Welfare Society and helps at the regional food buying club.  Besides reading magazines and books about sustainable living and agriculture, she enjoys gardening, tromping around the woods and observing nature out her window.

 

To follow her true dream of being a solopreneur working from her home in the country, Joyce started Accomplish More Today.   Now, she is using her tried and true skills to be a virtual assistant for people like you in the internet marketing business.
